Ever wondered why some racers always seem to do so well?
Perhaps they know something you need to know?

Ever since I can remember, I have had a fascination with the mechanics and engineering of cars and bikes. So much so that I did my
apprenticeship as a mechanic through Mercedes and studied engineering draughting.
I have been building go-karts since the age of 12, granted, my first go-karts were more like soap-boxes, but as I grew older, I began to
put petrol engines into them. To date, I have built a total a 8 petrol-driven go-karts, both three and four wheelers, and raced (in my youth)
100cc International class go-karts.
About five years ago, I got into racing radio-controled cars. My first car was a Tamiya TA03F, in my second year of racing, I came fourth in the
National events with my Tamiya, applying the principles outlined in the manuals provided on this site.
Now days, I enjoy some good achievements in my racing, the spoils of knowing exactly how to set up my car for different track conditions.
